I use a combination of different therapeutic approaches, such as person-centred therapy, narrative therapy, parts work, and somatic attachment psychotherapy. I also provide EMDR therapy. I'm open to discussing with you what has worked/not worked for you in the past, and we can personalize the therapy experiences to fit your goals.

I have limited spots for sliding scales rates for BIPOC (Black, Indigenous, or people of colour) who are:

• unemployed/underemployed

• without extended health insurance

This is my way of upholding my responsibility to the communities that I belong to. It is also a way for clients who can pay full rates to assist others in accessing sliding scale rates and to help ensure that I can continue offering sliding scale spots.

Sliding scale rates start from $90 per 50-minute session. We can decide together on sliding scale rates that work for you, and this can be an ongoing discussion.

Any societal factors that marginalizes and oppresses people based on the identities that they hold. Examples include but are not limited to: racism, homophobia, transphobia, ableism, and classism.

All of these factors arising from systemic oppression can negatively impact mental health and even contribute to experiences of complex PTSD/trauma. Our work together can include addressing these factors, if you wish to explore them.

In-person sessions: The office is located on the 4th floor, which is accessible via 2 elevators in the lobby. There are no stairs needed to enter the building.

The use of scents is refrained in the office itself, though there are offices on the same floor that may not adhere to a scent-free space.

Multi-stall washrooms are located to the right of the elevators and have gendered signage. 

The office is dog-friendly, and people do sometimes bring their dogs to the space.

To support COVID-conscious community efforts in reducing transmission risks, I will be wearing a KN95/N95 mask for all in-person sessions and will keep my vaccinations updated.

For clients, masks are not required but greatly appreciated. KN95s are also provided in the case that you wish to use one.

The office is small, and the chairs are unable to be placed 6-feet apart. An air purifier will be running at all times during sessions.

Please do not attend in-person sessions if you or people around you are sick or experiencing symptoms. We can reschedule or switch to a virtual session instead.

Many extended health benefits provide coverage for counselling. Please check with your insurance plan to see if services will be covered by a Registered Clinical Counsellor (RCC) through the BC Association of Clinical Counsellors (BCACC). Please note that I am unable to provide direct billing.

There is a cancellation policy for late cancellations. Please contact me if you are unable to attend a session. If 24 hours notice is not given, there will be a charge for the full session fee.
